Imuran is an immunosuppressive agent used to prevent rejection after a kidney transplant and it also be used to treat conditions of rheumatoid arthritis. It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
Imuran works by weakening the body's immune system so it will not attack the transplanted organ or the joints.
