Ditropan is an anticholinergic agent used to relieve urinary and bladder difficulties, including frequent urination, inability to control urination and decreases muscle spasms within the bladder. It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
Ditropan works by relaxing and controling the muscles within the bladder causing activity that can lead to spasams and other difficulties of urinary incontinence. Ditropan XL is the extended release version of Ditropan.
