Epival is an anticonvulsant used to control seizures. It may also be used to treat migraine headaches, manic depression episodes and other conditions as determined by your doctor.
Epival generally works by increasing the concentration of gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) in the brain, reducing the activities in the brain that starts seizure activities.
