Coreg is an alpha- and nonselective beta-blocker used to treat high blood pressure and heart failure. When taken post-heart attack, it works to improve recovery. It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
Coreg works by relaxing the blood vessels so that your heart does not have to pump as hard.
