Anaprox and Naprosyn are both nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) used to relieve pain and swelling (inflammation). They are also used to treat headaches, muscle aches, backaches, tendonitis, bursitis, dental pain, menstrual cramps, arthritis, or gout. They may be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
Anaprox and Naprosyn works by blocking the enzyme in your body that makes prostaglandins, reducing pain and swelling symptoms.
