Aldactone is a diuretic medication used to treat high blood pressure and fluid retention caused by various conditions, including heart disease. It also is used in some treatments for patients with low potassium levels. It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
Aldactone works by eliminating unneeded water and salt from the body and kidneys by flushing it through urine output.
