Aggrenox is an antiplatelet agent class of medication used to prevent strokes in patients who have had or who are at risk of a stroke. It may also be used to treat other conditions as determined by your doctor.
Aggrenox works by preventing excessive blood clotting. Though Aggrenox helps decrease the risk of having a stroke, it does not eliminate the risks or cure a mini-stoke or full scale stroke once it starts.
